Easter break

I’ve been a little quiet here as a significant part of the pre-Easter week was taken up with applications for the Tasmanian Elearning Innovations funding through the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. Despite the fact teaching staff are technically on leave I’ve already had a few phone calls from people beavering away on the final versions.

Via HeyJude came a link to JDS blog – this looks like a good model of how a librarian in a school setting is working at sourcing and organising material for various ‘faculties’ using tags.

Drupal

Wow!!! How simple it can be. I’ve spent today moving some information over to our team drupal site at http://lrs.tafe.tas.edu.au/ and it’s been a real pleasure to learn my way around the system. I’ve got to certain points and thought “How do I do this?” and then found the answers I needed. Having a whole lot of modules available with extra functionality has been a real bonus (Thanks Stephen!!!)
