Nice one – and good metaphor. I see you are the lead actor in this one ;-) This is a great way to get some ideas out. Can some text slides can be added relatively easily?

    Great Kirsty,
I will be exampling this to Mary to apply to the Micro Bus WebCT course for flex students. When viewing the participant feels like they are getting one on one interaction with their facilitator – you get their body language and insight into the subject matter – very valuable for learning especially with a flex/online course strategy. I wouldn’t want it to go too much longer, however you could do chunks of video blog throughout a resource exampling over arching understandings to the participant – being explicit on what you want them to know and understand. It could also be a good idea and accessible if the file was an html with embedded play (low quality though : ( – I am not sure if this would be achievable with the app you used :D

Jaq – yes, small frequent chunks are a good practice. And I agree about embedding. I also need to have a more accessible format as wmv is not so friendly. One of the hazards of Movie Maker as the video editing tool. It reminds me I must get IT to come and install Media Impression that came with the Zi6.
