About Kirsty
My name is Kirsty Sharp and this blog helps me capture the exciting, inspiring, interesting and useful things I think about, trip over or discover relating to my role at the Tasmanian Polytechnic and elearning in general. The things I say here do not reflect the organisation’s thoughts, only my own.
I currently lead the Resource Development team at the Tasmanian Polytechnic, and have responsibility for supporting implementation of learning resources and elearning to meet client needs. I have worked with elearning since 1995 in a range of roles. My experience in flexible learning is based in workforce development and this focus has been critical in developing contextualised solutions for our clients. In 2004 I was recognised as an Australian Flexible Learning Leader (blog for that year), and continue to provide leadership in this field.
In 2008, the Elearning Innovations projects won by TAFE Tasmania (where I worked before the restructure) kept me out of trouble (or is that, got me into it?!)
The 2009 projects are listed also – and include 6 from our organisation.
Where am I? Where have I been? What have I done?
